IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE FIRST
ALLEY SOUTH OF WOODLAWN AVENUE BETWEEN ERNESTINE
�VENUE AND GERTRUDE DRIVE. RESOLUTION DIRECTING
PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITATION REPORT.
The City Council of the City o£ Lynwood does hereby '
resolve as follows:
l. That the public interest, convenie'nce, and necessity
require, and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
2. That the general nature, location, and .extent of
such proposed improvement is as follows: The construction of cement
concrete gutter and plant-mixed surfacing, includ.ing all incidental
and appurtenant work in the first alley south of Woodlawn Avenue
between Ernestine Avenue and Gertrude Drive. .
3. It is hereby further determined that the City Council
o£ the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accordance
with Section 4 0£ the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, which is known as the Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as amended. It is hereby
further determined that said City Council proposes to conduct the
proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an Act of the
Legislature of the State of California known and designated as the
"Improvement Act of 1911," as amended.
4. The boundary or extent of the assessment district to
be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1958-R-3 on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent of
said assessment district,
5. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to
prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest

APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of October 1958.
