RESOLUTION OF AWARD.OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER
.OF THE.PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF THE NORTH SIDE
OF ABBOTT ROAD BETWEEN SAN LUIS AVENUE AND SAN
JUAN AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF CEMENT CON-
CRE�E SIDEWALKS, INCLUDING ALL INCIDENTAL AND
APPURTENANT WORK.
WHEREAS,,the City,Clerk of the:City of Lynwood did on the
18th day of November, 1958, publicly open, examine,.and. declare all
sealed proposals or bids for the following work to be done.or improve-
ment to be..made in said city, to wit: all that certain work and
improvement set forth in.Resolution of Intention.No..2852_passed and
adopted by the said City,Council on.the '7th day of October, 1958
which Resolution of Intention,is on.file in the office.of the,City
. Clerk of said city,.and is hereby referred to for a description of
said work or improvement, the boundaries of the,district to be assessed
to pay the costs and expenses of said�work and £or further parti'culars.
NOW, THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED by said City that
it does hereby reject all of said,proposals or bids except the next
herein.mentioned. and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
or improvement to the lowest regular, responsible bidder, to wit:
E. W. Allen, at the.prices for said work or improvement named in
said bid, which bid is on.file in the.office.of the City Clerk of said
city_,and is hereby to for further particulars.
The City Clerk,of said.city is hereby directed to publish
notice.of this award twice in the Lynwood Press,.a weekly,newspaper
published and circulated in said city, and hereby designated for that
purpose by this City,Council.
