RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CONNECTION
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF THE FIRST ALLEY SOUTH
OF WOODLAWN AVENUE BETWEEN ERNESTINE AVENUE
AND GEftTRUDE DRIVE SY THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CEMENT CONCRETE GUTTER AND ASPHALT PAVING,
TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT
WORK.
WHEREAS, the City,Council of the City of Lynwood did' on
the 5th day of November i958 approve an investigation report under
the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, cited.
as "Special Assessment Investigation Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931," as amended, upon the proposed improvement of the first
alley south of Woodlawn Avenue between Ernestine Avenue and Gertrude
Drive by the oonstruction of cement concrete gutter and asphalt
paving, together with all incidental_and appurtenant work as shown
on Plan No. 1958-R-2 on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
city, and
WHEREAS, said report having been duly prepared and filed, a
hearing was held by said City Council on the 16th day of December,
1958 in the manner provided in said Act above referred to, and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired s'ince the date
of mailing notices of hearing on said report,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: �
l. That no protests were.made at said hearing on said
investigation report.
2. That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require the doing and making'o£ the public improvement set forth and
described in said report above referred to and substantially in the
manner set forth.
j. That the project consisting of the proposed improvement
above.referred to is feasible and that the land to be assessed will
, be able to carry the burden of said proposed assessment.
4. .That the estimated total amount proposed to be assessed
upon any or all of the lots or parcels of land for the cost and expenses

of said proposed improvement does not exceed the limitation of
indebtedness established and set forth in said Act above referred
to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said limitation to be
exceeded in any instance.
5. That is is hereby ordered that the proceedings for the
making of said improvement be undertaken pursuant to the provisions
of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated as
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, cited as "The Improvement
Act of 1911," and amendments thereto.
