RESOLVPION N0, 2837
RESOliUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES
OF GAS TAX MONIES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOODo
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of° Los Angeles
has allocated $23 ,22oe55 for the improvement maintenance of m�.jor
city streets of general county interest within thP corpora.te limits of the
City of Lynwood for the fiscal year 1958-59 and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is now ready to pro�eed with its
program of street improvement work;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that the Board of Supervisors be requested to grant to said City of
� ,
Lynwood $23,220,55 and approve its expenditure for the improvement and
maintenance of the following streets and avenues in said city,
1, The construction of plant-mixed surfacing or bituminous �
macadam in the following streets and avenueso
Portions of Bullis Road from Fernwood Avenue to
South city limits „
Imperial Highway from Pine Ave�a to East city limits,
- Portions-of-�Abbott Road from Century Boulevard to .
Atlantic Avenue,
North roadway oP Fernwood Avenue from Lugo Park to
Wright Roado
2. General maintenance in the following streets and avenues:
Abbott Road�from Century Boulevard,to East city
limits,
Imperial Highway from West city limits to East
city limi.ts.
Long Beach Boulevard from South city limits to
North city limits,
Century Boulevard from West city limits to East
city limits
Bullis Road from South city limits�to'Imperial
Higriway.
Santa Fe Avenue from South city limits to Cedar Ave,
State Street from Cedar Avenue to North city limits,
Carlin Avenue from East city limits to West city
limits,
--- Fernwood Avenue from West city limits to East city
limits,
California Avenue from Fernwood Avenue to North
city limits,
