RESOLUTION N0. 2839
RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER
OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF THE NORTH SIDE
OF ABBOTT ROAD BETWEEN WASHINGTON AVENUE AND'
JACKSON AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, INCLUDING s�LL INCIDENTAL
AND APPURTENANT WORK,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood did on the
18th day of August 1958 publicly open, examine, and. declare all
sealed proposals or bids for the following work to be done or improve-
ment to be made in said city, to wit: all that certain work and
improvement set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 28z.6 passed and
adopted by the said City Council on the lst day of July 1958 which
Resolution of Intention is on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said. city, and is hereby referred. to for a description of said work
or improvement, the boundaries of the district to be assessed to
pay the costs and expenses of said work and £or further particulars,
FNOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said. City Council that
it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bid.s except the next
herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
or improvement to the lowest regular, responsible bidder, to wit: �

James Warner Construction Company, at the prices for said work or
improvement named in said bid, which bid is on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said- city and is hereby referred to for fu�ther
particulars.
The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to publish
notice of this award twice in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in said city, and hereby designated for that
� purpose by this City Council. �
