RESOLUTION N0. 2844
RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION OF ALMA AVENUE
BETWEEN SAN MIGUEL AVENUE AND SAN VINCENTE AVENUE
IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o£ Lynwood. did, on
the 5th day of August Zg58 adopt a resolution declaring its
intention to vacate Alma Avenue between San Miguel Avenue and San
Vinuente Avenue in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter described,
and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and posted
in the time, form, and manner required by law, and
WHEREAS, a f'ull and impartial hearing wa� held on the 2nd
day of September 1958 covering all the matter described in said
resolution of intention, and
WHEREAS, no protests or objections were made at said hearing
to said proposed vacation of said avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED by the City Council of the
' City of Lynwood as follows:
Section l. That the following described avenue is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use, and it is hereby ordered. that
the following described avenue in the City of Lynwood, California, be
vacated and abandoned:
Alma Avenue between the easterly line of San Miguel
Avenue and the westerly line of San Vincente Avenue
in Tract Nc. 5632, as per map recorded in Book 80,
Page 50, of" Maps, Records of Los Angeles County,
California.
- Section 2. That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement
in, over, or upon said above described property for the construction,
erection, and/or maintenance therein of public utilities.
Section 3. That the CitJ Clerl; shall cause a certified
copy o£ said order to be recorded in the of£ice of the Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
