RESOLUTION N0 2850.
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CONNECTION
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF THE NORTH SIDE OF
ABBOTT ROAD BETWEEN SAN LUIS AVENUE AND SAN
, JUAN AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION,OF CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCT-
DENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 19th.day of August, 19'S8, approve an investigation report und.er the
4 provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highwaya Code, cited as
"Special Assessment Investigation Limitation and- Majority Protest
Act of 19j1," as amended, upon the proposed improvement of the n'orth
side of Abbott Road between San Luis Avenue and San Juan Avenue, by
the construction of cement concrete sidewalks, together with all
incidental and appurtenant work as shown on Plan No, 1958-P-2 on,file
in the office of the City Clerk of said city, and

WHEREAS., said report having been duly prepared and filed, a '�
hearing was held by said City Council on the 7th day of OctoUer, 1958 �
. .
in the manner provided in said Act above referred to, and
WHEREAS, more than thirty�days have expired since the date
of mailing notices of hearing on said report, ,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
� l. That no protests were made at said hearing on said
investigation report. •
2, That the public interest, convenience, and n'ecessity
" require the doing and making of the public improvement set forth and
described in said- report above referred to and substantially in
° the manner set forth.
, j. That the project consisting of the proposed improvement
above referred to is feasible and �hat the land to be assessed will be
able to carry the bui:den of said proposed assessment..
4. .That the estimated total amount pr.oposed to be assessed ,
upon any or all the lots or parcels of land for the cost and expenses

o£ said proposed improvement d.oes not exceed the limitation of
indebtedness established and set forth in said Act above referred
to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said limitation to be
exceeded in any instance.
5. That it is hereby ordered that the proceedings for
the making of said improvement be undertaken pursuant to the provisions
of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California d.esignated as
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, cited as "The Improvement

Act of 1911," and amendments thereto.
