RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE ALMA AVENUE BETWEEN
SAN MIGUEL AVENUE AND SAN VINCENTE AVENUE IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the following described avenue is
unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes, and that the
public interest, necessity, and convenience require that the City
Council of said city hereby declares its intention to vacate and.
abandon said avenue, described as follows: '
Alma Avenue between the easterly line of San Miguel �
Avenue and the westerly line of San Vincente Avenue.
, Section 2. That said avenue as above described, lying and
being in the City o£ Lynwood, is shown on Map No. 1958-N on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said city, and to which all parties
interested are referred for £urther particulars as to the proposed.
vacation and abandonment,
Section 3. That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement
in, over, or. upon said above described property for the construction,
erection, and/or maintenance therein of public utilities.
Section 4, That said proceedings are had and taken under
the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Coc7.e
of the State of California, and cited as "The Street Vacation Act of
1941," as amended.
Section 5. That the City Council hereby fixes Tuesday, the
2nd day of September, i958 at the hour o£ 8 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road in the City 'of Lynwood,
as the time and place for hearing any protests or objections to the
' proposed vacation or abandonment of said avenue.
Section 6. That the City Clerk of said city is hereby
directed to publish and post�notice of the passing of this resolution

in the time, form, and manner required by law.
