RESOLUTION APPROVING A HOUSING ELEMENT FOR THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WIIEREAS, the New Jersey Fair Housing Act of 1985 and the New Jcrsey Municipal Land
Use Law requires municipalities to adopt a housing element that addresscs the municipalities
present and prospective need with attention to low and modcrate income housing; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") has had prepared a housing clement, a
copy of which is attached, which satisfies the statutory requiremcnts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of thc Borough of
Carteret that thc Housing Element prepared by THP, lnc on behalf of the Borough, a copy of
which is attached is hereby adopted.
