RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH FACTS OF HEARING AND
CONFIRMYNG ASSESSMENT TN THE MATTER OF THE '
ACQUISITION FOR AND OF'PROPERTY WITHIN VEHICLE �
PARKING DISTRICT N0, l.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle
. Parking District Aet of 1g�3, as amended., the City Council of the
City of Lynwood duly adopted Ordinance No. 64z on the 21st'.day of
February 1956 declaring its intention to form a vehicle parl:ing
district and acquire lanc] described in said.Ordinance No._642,
Reference is hereby made to said ordinance for a description of
sa'id acquisition and�improvement, the assessment district, and for
particulars, which ordinance is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and

WHERE the proceedings pursuant to said ordinance have I
been had and talken in the time, form, and manner required'by law, and �
, WHEREAS, said City Council duly adopted Ordinance No. 646 �
,, on the 17th day of April, 1956 ordering the assessment and establish-
ing the boundariies of said district, and
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the proposed assessment has
been published,lpos'ted, and mailec] as required by law, and
' WHEREAS, a full and complete hearing on said assessment was
held on the 5th d.ay_of August, 1958, and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that written protests
or objections to the things proposed to be d"one, as set forth in said
Ordinance No. 642 have not been made by the owners of'more than one-half
of the number of parcels or of more than one-half of the area o£ the
land included within the propos'ed district subject to assessment, and
has further determined that there has been no majority protest filed.,
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Czty of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1,., That the a,ssessment is just and correct and
in accordance with law, and that all actions, d.eterminations,
resolu,tions, ordinances, and orders, and- that all .the'.pr.oceedings

theretofore taken are legal, valid, and sufficient, and that the
diagram attached. to said assessment is legal, valid, and sufficient.
,� Section 2. That said proceedings and said assessment are
hereby confirmed and it is hereby ordered that the warrant may be
attached thereto accordingly.
