RESOLUTION N0. 2813
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE ALMA AVENUE BETWEEN SAN LUIS
AVENUE AND SAN VINCENTE AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1: The followin� described street is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes and that the public -
interest, necessity and convenience require, and the City Council
of said City hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon
said street described as follows:
Alma Avenue between the easterly line of
San Luis Avenue and the westerly line of
San Vincente Avenue.
Section 2: That said street as above described, lying
and being in said City of Lynwood, is shown on Map No. 1958-I on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and to which
all parties interested are referred to for further particulars as
to the proposed vacation and abandonment.
Section 3: That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement
in, over, or upon said above described property for the construction,
erection, and�or maintenance therein of public utilities.
Section 4: That said proceedings are had and taken under
the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, and cited as "The Street Vacation
Act of 1g41," as amended.
Section 5: That the City Council hereby fixes Tuesday,
the lst day of July, 1g58 at the hour of 8:00 p.m, in the Council
Chamber of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road in the City of Lynwood
as the time and place for hearing any protests or objections to
the proposed vacation or abandonment of said street.

Section 6: That the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to publish and post notice of the passa�e of this
Resolution in the time, form, and manner required by law.
