RESOLUTION N0. 2814
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE AND
DELIVER DIAGRAM OF ACQUISITION FOR AND OF
PROPERTY WITHIN VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT N0. 1'
OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 642 of the City of Lynwood �
adopted February 7, 1g56 this Council fixed and established the
boundary of the Vehicle Parking District No. 1 of said City,
declaring that said district had been fully formed under the
provisions of Vehicle Parking District Act of ig43 as amended,
and found that the public interest and necessity require, and
ordered, the acquisition in fee simple, for the parking places
fully described therein, which property is hereinafter referred
to as said property to be acquired; and, I
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 659 the City Attorney of I �
said City was directed to bring an action for the condemnation
of said property to be acquired, excepting therefrom those
parcels previously acquired through nego�iation; and,
UJHEREAS, the City Attorney has brought an action in
the name of said City in the Superior Court of the State of
California, in and for the County of Los Angeles, entitled "The
City of' Lynwood vs. Don Bishop et al" and numbered COMY-C-1632,
for the condemnation of the remaining portion of said property
to Ue acquired; and,
WHEREAS, an interlocutory judgment has been entered
in said action,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND,�ORDER as follows:
Section l. That the City Engineer of the City of
Lynwood be and he is hereby ordered to make and deliver to the
Street Superintendent of said City a diagram of said acquisition
and of the property within said Vehicle Parking District No. 1
-1- -
as finally established. Said diagram shall show the land to be
acquired, and also each separate lot or parcel of land within said
District, the dimensions of each such lot or parcel of land and
its relative location to the proposed acquisition. Said diagram
shall be delivered to said Street Superintendent who shall endorse
thereon the date of such delivery.
Section 2. That upon receiving said diagram said Street
.Superintendent shall proceed as provided in said Vehicle Parking
.
