A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORJER
STREET LIGHTING S�RVICE ON CERTAIN STREETS
IN THE CITY OF LYDIld00D FOR A PERIOD BEGINNING
JULY l, 1958 and ENDING JUNE 30, 1g61
The City Council of the City of Lyn�aood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section l: That the public interest and convenience
require, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City
o£ Lynwood to order the furnishing of the service necessary to
maintain and illuminate by means of electrical energy the Edison
Company street lighting system made up of 2,500 lumen, 4,000 lumen,
6,000 lumen, 10,000 lumen, and 20,000 lumen lamps, and the 2,500
lumen, 10;000 lumen, and 20,000 lumen lamps on ornamental standards
in certain streets in the City of Lynwood within the district
described in Section 2 hereof and to be knovan as "Lighting NYainte-
nance District No, 18 of the City of Lynwood." Reference is hereby
made,to Plans No, 1g58-C and Speciiications No, 1g5t3-C on,file in
the office of the City Clerk of said City. ,
Section 2: That the exterior boundary of the district.
to be benefited therefrom and to be assessed to pay the costs and
expenses thereof to be known as said assessment district is described
as follows:
Those properties 1Jing within the following described
exterior Uoundary line, to-vait:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 27 of
Mod,�eska Acres as per map recorded in Book 10, Page 33 oP Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point of beginning
being on the westerly boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said
boundary line existed April 1, 1958 thence northU�esterly along said
boundary line and following the same in all its various courses to
the westerly line of the westerly roadway of Alameda Street; thence
northerly along said last described line to the northerly line of
Imperial Highvaay, 100 feet wide, said point being on the aforemention-
ed boundary line of the City of Lynwood; thence northerly along said
� boundary line and follotving the same in all its various courses to
its intersection with the northerly prolongation of the easterly line
of U7right Road, 50 feet,wide; thence southerly along said last
described.line and the easterly line of Wright Road to a point on the
aforementioned boundary line of ttie City of,Lynwood; thence westerly
along said boundary line and following the same in all its various
courses to the northeasterly corner oi Century Boulevard and Wright

All properties owned•by the City of Lynwood, Lynwood Unified
School District, and the Federal Government are hereby specifically
exempted from this assessment.
Section�3 That the said contemplated improvement shall
be had and taken under the provisions of Division 14, Part I of
the Streets and Highways Code, cited as the "Street Lighting Act
of 1919 and amendments thereto," approved May 16 1g19.
