A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, C�1I,IFORNI.�, ,DECLP.RING THE RESULT OF THE
' GENER�L MUNICIP,�L ELECTION HELD IN S1�ID CITY OF
LYNWOOD ON !APRIL 8, 1958 .
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows: �
WHERE�S, the General Mun3cipal Election was held and con-
_ ducted in the City of Lynwood, State of California, on the 8th day ,
� of April Z958 as required by law, and
WHEREAS, it appears that Notice of said election was duly
and legally �iven, that voting precincts were properly established,,
that eleetion officers were appointed and election�supplies £urnished,
that-sample ballots and polling place cards were mailed to.all
� - qualified registered voters in the City of Lynwood, and that in all
,
respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast
thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof made and
declared in time, form, and manner as required by the General Laws I
of the State of California governing elections in General Law cities, I I
and in further compliance with the Elections Code of said State, and I
all the laws pertainin� thereto, and
WHERE�AS, the City Council of the City of'Lynwood met at the
Council Chamber of the City Hall on Tuesday, the,l5th day of �pril,
1958 to canvass the returns of said election and install the newly'
.elected officers, a result of which the Council finds that the
number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for,.the proposition
voted on, and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as folTows:
That said regular municipal election was held and conducted
in the City of Lynwood on Tuesday, the 8th day of April 1958 in time
form, and manner required by law;
That there were eighteen voting precinets established for the
purpose:of holdingisaid election, consisting of a consolidation of the

regular election precincts established for holding gen�ral State
and county elections, as £ollows:
Precinct l, consisting of State and county precincts
1, 3, and 47,
Precinct 2, consisting of State and. county precincts
2, 6, and 35. -
Precinct 3, consisting of State and county precincts
28, 34, and 46.
Precinct 4, consisting of State and county precincts
. 4 and 53.
Precinct 5, consisting of State and oounty precincts
22, 30 and. 42
Precinct 6, consisting of State and county precinets
8, 32, and 44. '
Precinct 7, consisting of State and county precincts
23, 27, and 45.
Precinet 8, consisting of State and county precinc"ts
18, 39, and 43.
Precinct 9, consisting of State and county precincts.
5, 7, 9, and 48.

That the whole number of votes cast in said city was
5183.
That the names of the.persons voted for, the office for
which they were.voted, the number of votes given in each consoli-
d.ated voting precinct to each o£ said persons, together-with the

whole number of votes which they received in the entire city, and'
the number of votes given in each precinct for and against the
proposition submitted, are as follows:
