RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPOINTING A MEMBER AND AN ALTERNATE
MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY '
SANITATION DISTRICT N0. 1 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
WHERE�S, the County Sanitation District Act, as amended
by Statutes 1949, Chapter 882, contains the following provisions:
That the go erning body of a sanitation district is a
board of directors of not less than three members, a member of the
governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is included
in the sanitation district, is a member of the board, and
WHEREAS, County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles
County does include territory of the City of Lynwood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED that Arnold Finch, a member
of the City Council of the City of Lynwood, be and. he is hereby
appointed to serve as a member of the Board. of Directors of County
Sanitation District No. 1 of Los P�ngeles County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Thomas H. Pender, a member of
the City Council of the City of Lynwood be, and he is hereby selected
and designated as an alternate member of the Board of Directors of
County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County, who shall be
a member o£ said District Board to act in place of the presiding
` of.f_,icer of this City Council during his absence, inability, or

� v refusal to act as such member of said District Board.
