HomeMy Public PortalAbout2003-028 Resolution Authorizing Application for a Predevelopment GrantAppendix B Resolution of Support Memberinatitwiintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO.03-28 AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A PREDEVELOPMENT GRANT WHEREAS the City of Medina has identified the Uptown Hamel Redevelopment within the City that meets the Predevelopment Grant purpose and criteria; and WHEREAS the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure adequate project administration; and WHEREAS the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and WHEREAS the City Council of Medina, Minnesota agrees to act as legal sponsor for the project contained in the Predevelopment Grant application submitted on September 12, 2003; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Medina and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant.
