A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE WORK
AND LEVYING THE PROPOSED �SSESSMENT FOR SERVICE
NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN AND ILLUMINATE ALL STREET
LIGATS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood, Cali£ornia,
d.id on the 15th day of April 1958 adopt Resolution No. 2795 fixing
the time and- place for a hearing in the matter of lighting mainten-
ance district No. 18 of the City of Lynwood, and
WHERE,�S, all interested persons were given full opportunity
to present their protests or objections, and
WHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication
and posting of notice of said hearing in the time, form, and manner
required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council, after due considera-
tion,o£ all such objections and- protests, does hereby overrule and
deny such protests and objections and each of them to the work or
improvement to be done within said Street Lighting Maintenance
District as described in Resolution of Intention No. 2794 of said
city and to the proposed assessment therefor; and does hereby confirm
and. adopt as a whole, unmodified, the assessment and report as des-
cribed in said Resolution No. 2794, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest and con-
venience demands and requires and this City Council does hereby order
the said contemplated improvement to be made in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor, adopted and approved, and the City
Council does hereby levy the said proposed assessment made to cover
the costs and expenses of said improvement upon the respective sub-
divisions of land in said district and as fixed by the proposed. report
and assessment heretofore filed in the office of the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of
Lynwood is hereby ordered to transmit to the County Cof Los Angeles

Tax Collector, the diagram and assessment upon which such levy is
based and said County Tax Collector is hereby authorized and directed
to make collections of all such assessments, and to perform all the
acts and duties as are required of said Act to be performed by the
persons designated as "Tax Collector" in.Chapter 6 of the Street
Lighting Act of 19i9 as amended,
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1958.
