RESOLUTION NO.03-29
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM MNDOT
THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL AGREEMENT PROGRAM FOR ACCESS
REMOVAL FROM TRUNK HIGHWAY 12 AND CONSTRUCTION OF
ALTERNATIVE ACCESS VIA SPRUCE WAY
WHEREAS, the City of Medina proposes to remove access to Trunk Highway 12 and
construct an alternative access via Spruce Way within the corporate City limits in
Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is requesting additional financial participation in the
project from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) through the
Municipal Agreement Program; and
WHEREAS; the City of Medina is committed to providing the local share of the costs if
the project is selected as part of the upcoming Municipal Agreement Program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Medina, that the
City of Medina is requesting additional funding from MnDOT for access removal from
TH 12 and construction of alternative access via Spruce Way and is committed to
providing the local share for such project.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Brinkman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
