FISCAL IMPACT:
It is estimated the fiscal impact of this adjustment will be $3,000 -$5,000. The adopted
FY 2016-17 City Budget should include sufficient resources for the recommended
adjustments. Staff will continue tracking and analyzing part-time staff costs and if
necessary, will make a recommendation for a budget adjustment at a later date.

RESOLUTION NO. 16-5221
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY, CALIFORNIA ADJUSTING SALARIES FOR UNREPRESENTED
PART-TIME CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, on January 1, 2017, the State of California's minimum wage law is increasing from
$10.25 per hour to $10.50 per hour.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves salary ranges for unrepresented part-time
classifications (Exhibit "1") implementing salary adjustment for unrepresented part-time classifications,
effective with the pay period ending January 6, 2017; and
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
