RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES
OF GAS TAX MONIES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WI�REAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles has allocated $23,031.25 for the improvement and maintenance
of major city streets of general County interest within the corporate
limits o£ the City of Lynwood for the fiscal year 1957-58 and
WF�REAS, the City of Lynwood is now ready to proceed with
its program of street improvement work,
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City.Council o£ the i
City of Lynwood that the.Board of Supervisors be requested to grant to• '
said City of Lynwood $23,031.25 and approve its expenditure for the
improvement and maintenance of the following'streets and avenues in
eaid city.
1. The construction of plant-mixed surfacing or bituminous
macadam in the following streets and avenues;
Imperial Highway from Bullis Road to Elm Avenue.
Portions of'Abbott Road from Century Boulevard to Atlantic
Avenue.
North roadway o£ Fernwood. Gertrude to,Harris Avenue:
2. General maintenance in the following street and avenues:
Abbott Road from Century Boulevard to-East city limits.
Long Beach Boulevard from South city limits to North city
limits.
Century I3oulevard from West city limits to East city limits.
Bullis Road from South city limits to Imperial Highway.
Santa Fe Avenue from South city limits to Cedar Avenue.
State Street from Cedar Avenue to North city limits.
Carlin.Avenue from East city limits�to West city limits.
North and South Roadway, Fernwood Avenue from West City
limits to Atlantic Avenue.
•California Avenue from Fernwood Avenue to North city
limits.
