RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABATE DRY AND DRYING
' WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD,
WHEREAS,.Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as'
"Weecl and Rubbish Abatement" provides'for abatement of dry and drying
- weeds that constitute a publie nuisance, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood by the Superintendent of Streets that
� there exists'a public nuisance on certain parcels of land in the
City o£ Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

, 1. That a public nuisance exists upon the parcels of land,
lots, or portions of lots set forth below:

2. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to cause
notices to be posted in the time, form,.and manner required by law.
3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work shall be taken
under an'Act,o£ the Legislature of the State of California designated
as the Government Code, Chapter 13, Sections 39500 et seq., cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement," and amendments thereto.
4. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 18th day of
March 1958 at the hourLOf 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City if Lynwood, any and all persons
having`any objections or protests to said proposed work may appear
before said City Council and show caule why said proposed work should

not be carried out in accordance with said Act. '
