A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING MAP FOR REAL ESTATE LOCATED ON THE WEST ISDE OF THE 2100 BLOCK OF
CHESTER BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the zoning map designates real estate for the property on the west side of the 2100 block of Chester Boulevard, as R-2 One Family Residence District and R-4/Special Use Multi-Family
Residence District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-2 Commercial District for said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate located on the west side of the 2100 block of Chester
Boulevard and further described below is hereby changed to C-2 Commercial District.
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 14, Range 1 West, beginning at a point in the center of the Richmond and Newport Turnpike, said point being 55.13 rods South of
th4e northeast corner of said quarter section; thence South 25.17 rods; thence West 50.85 rods; thence North 25.17 rods; thence East 50.85 rods to the place of beginning, containing
8 acres.
AND ALSO: Beginning at the northeast corner of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North, Range 1 West, running thence West 548.18 feet to a stake; thence
South 158.92 feet to a stake; thence East 548.18 feet the center of the Richmond-Newport Turnpike; thence North 158.92 feet to the place of beginning, containing 2 acres, more or less.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: 3.173 acres conveyed by Domingo L. Ang to Richmond, Indiana, Redevelopment Authority for the construction of the new Industries Road Extension by warranty deed and
recorded as Instrument No. 1996003521 on April 1, 1996.
Passed and adopted this 20th day of April, 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
