FISCAL IMPACT:
The City Council as part of the Fiscal Year(FY) 2016-17 City Budget has appropriated funds
for this event, the majority of which is staff costs in support of the parade and the three day
carnival. Funds are available for the special event insurance in account# 01-940-57-4630
R17-07. It is not anticipated that the request from the Festival Board will have an additional
impact on the FY 2016-17 City Budget.
