Forbes, AICP, Community Development Director Scott Reimers, Planning Manager ·By: Adam Gulick, Associate Planner SUBJECT: APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DECISION DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A 7,891 SQUARE FOOT KARAOKE TELEVISION (KTV) BUSINESS IN THE CAMELLIA SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER, LOCATED AT 9055 LAS TUNAS DRIVE, UNIT 125 RECOMMENDATION: The City Council is requested to continue the public hearing to date uncertain. BACKGROUND: The applicant of the above case appealed the Planning Commission's decision denying the Conditional Use Permit. After scheduling this item for a pub lic hearing and sending out public notices the applicant requested that the City Council continue this item. The applicant is requesting additional time to prepare a thorough response to the City's and the community's concerns. When a new hearing date is chosen, staff will send public hearing notices at least ten days prior to the hearing date. ATTACHMENT: A.
