ORDINANCE NO. /4
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION 3.5
OF THE FLEXIBLE BENEFIT PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES AS ORIGINALLY ADOPTED
BY ORDINANCE 12181, AS MOST RECENTLY AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 14116.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3.5 of the City's Flexible Benefit Plan, as originally adopted
by ordinance 12181, as most recently amended by ordinance 14116, is hereby amended
as follows:
3.5 Employer Contributions. The Employer shall make
available to each Participant an Employer Contribution equal to
$6&2$424.78 per month,funded at$--94$212.39 per pay period for
each of the first two regular pay periods of each month during the
Plan Year. This $38&2 $424.78 is available only if the employee
• either elects coverage under one of the Employer sponsored health
plans or provides evidence of health care coverage from another
source. Any remaining funds in excess of the insurance cost, up to
$36-2 $424.78 may be used to purchase other benefits available
pursuant to Section 4.1. The Employer contribution is not
considered as part of the employee's full compensation and is not
available to the employee as cash.
Section 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 12181, enacted by Council on November
15, 1994, and which was previously last amended by Ordinance14116, is hereby amended
as follows:
Section 3. In addition to the Employer contributions specified in ExhibitA the City
shall underwrite premiums for health insurance for spousecoverage in the amount of two
humdred twenty none dollars two hundred fifty-eight dollars and thirty-eight
cents ($258.38) per month, for children coverage in the amount of two hundred sixteen
del 6)two hundred thirty-eight dollars and fifty cents($238.50) per month,
and for family coverage in the amount of four
hundred ninety-nine dollars and eighteen cents ($499.18) per month.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and effect January 1, 2008.
