RECOMMENDATION :
The City Council is requested to recei ve and file the Tran sportation and Public Safety
Comm ission (Commissi on ) actions from their meeting of November 9, 2016 .
BACKGROUND:
On November 9 , 2016 , the Commission held their regularly schedu led meeting .
ANALYSIS:
Follow ing is a summ a ry of actions taken at the November 9 , 2016 , meeting :
1. ROLL CAL L:
Present: Commiss ioner-Clift , Redmond , Stratis , V ice Chairman Blatt ,
Chairman Nimri
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused : Commissioner-None
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR :
The Commiss ion approved the m inutes of the i r October 12 , 2016 , meeti ng as
amended .

3 . Parking C itation Hearings :
The Commission held si x heari ngs in person. Two citations were uphe ld , three were
dism issed , and one was continued to a la ter date at the request of the appe ll ant.
The Commission held two hearings by written declaration and upheld both citations .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS :
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions of November 9 ,
2016 , fu rt hers the City's Strategic Goal of C itizen Education and Commun ication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fis c al Yea r 2016-17 City Budget.
