WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood d.id, by ' _7 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, as follows: _ -. _ Section 1; A special election hereby is called to be held ' onf�the 14th day of May, 1957, in the territory hereinafter d.escribed � and proposed to be annexed to the City of Lynwood., for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated ' in, and made a part of the City of Lynwood. , Said territory is deocribed as follows: , � Beginnirig at the southeasterly corner of Tract No. 17484 �!s �:hown on map record.ed in Book.42�+, pages 43 and 44 of Maps, Records -1- of Los Angeles County, California, said point being on the boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said boundary line,existed October 22 1956 thence northerly along said boundary line and. folloWing the same in all its various courses to its intersection with the northerly pro- longation of the easterly line of Lot 67 0£ Tract No. 11632, as shown on map recorded in Book 210, pages 29 and 30 of Maps, Records of said County, said last described line.being on the boundary line of the City of Compton as said boundary existed October 22 1956 thence southerly in a direct line through the southeasterly corner of Lot 54 of said. Tract No. 11632 to the center line of Olanda Street, 60 feet wide, as shown on said last mentioned map; thence westerly along said. last mentioned center line and the westerly prolonga.tion thereof to its intersection with the aforementioned bound-ary line of , the City of Compton; thence northerly along said last mentioned boun- dary line and following the same in all its various courses to the point of beginning.
