RESOLUTION N0. 2748
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD WITIIDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND AN-
NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT OF' LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of certain land, as hereinafter described, to said City.of'Lynwood,
and '
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protection
to said area of land, and '
, WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 12,.Part 3,.Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever
any portion of a fire protection district`is included within a city
by reason of annexation, such portion may'be withdrawn from the Dis.trict,
NOW, THEREFORE,,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of' Lynwood that the following described area of land. be and the
same is hereby declared withdrawn from said. Consolidated Fire Pro-
tection District oP Los Angeles County;

Ozell Manor Annex #8 662 June 4 1957
Beginriing at the southeasterly corner of Tract No, 17484 as
shown on map recorded in Boolc 424, pages. 43 and 44 of Maps, Records
of 'Los Angeles County, Califor.nia, said point being on the boundary
line of the City of Lynwood as said boundary line existed October 22,
1956 thence northerly along said boundary line and £ollowin'g the same
in all its various courses to the intersection with the north'erly pro-
longa.tion of the easterly line of Lot 67 ofl Tract No: 11632, as shown
on map re'corded. in Book 210, pages 29 and 30 of'Maps, Records of said
County, said last described line being on the.boundary line of the City
of Compton as s'aid boundary existed October 22 1956 ;.thence southerly
in a direct line through the southeasterly corner of Lot 54 of said
Traet No. 11632 to the center line.of Olanda Street, 60 feet wide, as'
shown on said. last mentioned map; thence westerly along said last men-
tioned' cenLer line and the westerly prolongation thereof to its inter-
section with the aforementioned boundary line of the-City of Compton;
thence northerly along said last mentioned boundary line and followin�
, the same in all its various courses to the point of beginning.
