, RESOLUTION N0. 2749
� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF
LYNWOOD WITHDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND AN-
NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM TI�E SOUTHEAST MOSQUITO
ABATEMENT DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WI�REAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexa'tion
of certa'i.n areas os land, as hereinafter described, to said City of
Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 3, Chapter 5, Article 6.5 (Seetions 2j50 and 2351), pro�ides
tha� whenever any portion.of a district is included within a city by
reason of annexation, such.portion may be withdrawn f'rom the distriet,'
, NOW, THEREFORE,,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described a,reas of land be and the
same are hereby declared withdrawn from sa'id Southeast Mosquito
� Abatement District of Los Angeles County:

Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Tract No. 17484
. as shown on map.recorded in Book 424, pages 43 and 44 of Maps, Records
ofiLos.Angeles County,,Ca,lifornia „ said point being on the.boundary
line of the City of Lynwood as said boundary line existed 'October 22,
1956 thence riortherly along said b'oundary line and following the same
in all its various courses to the intersection with the northerly pro-
longation of the easterly line,of Lot 67 of Traet No. 116j2 „ as shown
on map recorded in Book 210, pages 29 and 30 of Maps, Records of said
County, said last described line being on th'e boundary line of the City
of Compton, as said boundary existed October 22 1956 thence southerly
in a direct line through the south'easterly corner of.Lot 54 of said
Tract No. 11632 to the center line of Olanda.,Street, 60 feet wide,.as
shown on said last�mentioned map; thenee westerly along said last rrieri-
tioned center line and the westerly prolongation thereof.to its inter-
section with the af'orementioned boundary line of the City of Compton;
thence northerly said last mentioned boundary line.and following
the same in all its various courses to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED'that the City Clerk is directed and
ordered to file copies of this resolution.with the State Board of
• Equalization, the Southeast Mosquito Abatement District, and the
