ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 17-5230 AMENDING CITY COUNCIL RULES OF ORDER AND PROTOCOL City Council is requested to amend their Rules of Order and Protocol to comply with Assembly Bill 1787 providing at least twice the allotted time to a member of the public who utilizes a translator. Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 17-5230 amending City Council Rules of Order and Protocols, Section 10 “Addressing the City Council”, to increase the public speaker time for speakers requiring translation from three minutes to six minutes pursuant to Assembly Bill 1787.
