- RESOLUTION N0. 2707
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CI'I'Y OF
LYNWOOD WITHDRAWING A CERTAIN AREA OF LAND AN-
NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed.the annexation
of certain land, as hereinafter described, to said City of Lynwood,
and
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protection
to said area of land., and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever
any portion of a fire' protection d.istrict is included within a city
by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the dis-
tract,
��NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following deseribed area of land be and the
same is hereby declared withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire Pro-
tection District of Los Angeles County: ,

Beginning at a point in the westerly line of the parcel of•
land marked '�Omri J. Bullis 100.495 acres" on map of the Bullis land
recorded in Book 3 page 399 of Miscellaneous Records in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, California, distant
northerly thereon 2028.55 feet, more or less, from the southwesterly
corner•of said parcel of land, said point being the northwesterly
corner of the parcel of land d,escribed as Parcel 1 in d.eed to Katsu,jiro
Horiuchi, et al, recorded in Book 47365 page 266, of the Official
records in the office of said Recorder; thence northerly along the
westerly line of the aforementioned. parcel of land,."Omri J. Bullis
100.495 acres" to the center line of Imperial Highway (formerly Lynwood
Road) as shown on map of Watts Park Tract recorded in Book 8, page 70
of Maps, in the office of said Recorder; thence easterly along said
center line to the boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said boun-
dary line existed on 1�Lune 15 1956 ;.thence southerly along said last
mentioned boundary and following the same in all its various courses
to a point on the easterly line of-aforementioried•Parcel 1 in deed to
Katsujiro Horiuchi, et al; thence northerly and westerly along the
boundary of said last mentioned parcel of land to the point of beginning.
, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
