RESOLUTION N0. 2708
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD REQUESTING WITHDRAWAL OF A CERTAIN AREA
OF LAND ANNEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE FLORENCE-
GRAHAM SEWER.MATNTENANCE DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of a certain area of land, as hereinafter described, to said City of
Lynwood, and
� WHEREAS, the State o£ California Health and Safety Code,
Div3sion 5, Part 3, Chapter 4, Article 7(Section 4926, as amendecl),
provides that whenever any portion of a district is included within
a city by reason of annexation, such portion.may be withdrawn from
the district by request of the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED that the City Council of
the City'of Lynwood hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of.Los
Angeles County to exclude from the District those portions of
Florence-Graham Sewer Maintenance District lying within the following
described area of land: '

Alameda Street Annexation No. 2 657 Decembe�, 1956
Beginning•at a point in the westerly line of the parcel of
land marked "Omri J. Bullis 100.495 acres" on map of the Bu11is land
recorded in Book 3, page 399 of Miscellaneous Records in the.office
of the Recorder of the County o£ Los Angeles„ California, distant
northerly thereon 2028.55 feet, more or less, from the southwesterly
corner of said parcel of land, said point being the northvresterly
corner of the parcel of land described as Parcel 1 in deed to Katsujiro
. Horiuchi, et al, recorded in Book 47365, page 266, of the Official
r'ecords in the office of said Recorder; thence northerly along the
westerly line of the aforementioned- parcel of land,."Omri J. Bullis
,_100.495 acres" to the center line of Imperial Highway (formerly Lynwood
Road) as shown on map of Watts Park Tract_recorded in Book 8, page.70
of Maps, in the o£fice of said Recorder;-thence easterly along said
center line to the boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said boun-
dary line existed on June 15 1956 thence southerly along said last
mentioned boundary and following•the same in all its various courses
to a point on the easterly line of aforementioned Parcel 1 in deed
to Katsujiro Horiuchi, et al; thence northerly and westerly along the
boundary of said last mentioned parcel of land to the point of beginning.
_ BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
;, ordered to file a copy of this resolution with the Board of Supervisors
' , of Los Angeles County.
