RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF
THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF WRIGHT ROAD BETWEEN
FERNWOOD AVENUE AND CENTURY BOULEVARD BY THE CON-
STRUCTION OF VITRIFIED CLAY PIPE SANITARY SEWERS,
INCLUDING ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood d-id in
open ses'sion on the 18th day of December, 1956 publicly open,
examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the.following
work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to wit:
Al1 that certain work and improvement set forth in Resolution.of
Intention.No. 2685 passed and adopted by said City Council on the
16th day of October, 1956 which Resolution of Intention is on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said .City and is hereby referred
to for a description of said work or improvement, the boundaries of
the district to be assessed to pay the,costs and expenses of said
work, and for further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that
it re,jects, and it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids
except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for
doing said work or improvement to the lowest, regular, responsible
bidder, to wit: Chris Evanovich, at the prices for said work or
improvement named in said. bid, which bid is on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City, and is hereby referred to for further
particulars.
The City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to publish
notice of this award twice in the.Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper
.-published'and circulated in said City and hereby designated for that
