RESOLUTION N0. 2712
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF.THE CITY OF
• LYNWOOD WITHDRAWING A CERTAIN AREA OF LAND AN-
' NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City o£ Lynwood has completed. the annexation
of certain land, as hereinafter d.escribed, to said City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does.provide fire protection
to said area of land, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever
any portion of,a £ire protection district is included within a city
by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the dis-
trict,..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area of land be and the
same is hereby declared. withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire Pro-
tection District of Los Angeles County:
ANNEXATION ORDINANCE N0. DATE
Alameda Street Annexation No. 3 658 January 2 1957
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary of the City
of Lynwood as same existed on June 15 1956 said angle point being
a- point in the westerly line of the parcel of land marked "Omri J.
Buliis 100.495 acres" on map of the Bullis land recorded in Book 3,
page 399 of 'Miscellaneous Records in the office of the Recorder of
the County of Los Angeles, Cali£ornia, distant thereon 1536.74 feet
from the southwesterly corner of said parcel of land; th'ence northerly
along said westerly line to the southwesterly corner of the parcel of
land described as Parcel 1 in deed to Katsujiro Horiuchi, et al,
recorded in Book 47365 page 266 of Official Records in the office of
said Recorder; thence easterly along the southerly boundary of said
Parcel 1 to a: point on the aforementioned boundary line of the.City
of Lynwood; thence southerly along said boundary line.and following
the•same in all its various courses to the point of beginning,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and
ord.ered to file copies of this resolution with the State Board of
� Equalization,.Count'y Board of Superyisors, County Clerk, and County
Assessor.
