The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as �ollours:
Section l : Tha.t the following described alleys, avenues, and public
ways �re unnecessary for prese�t or prospective street 2.nd alley xyurposes �.nd
tha.t the ma.blic interest, necessity, a.nd eonvenience require and the City Council
of said. city� hereb5* decla.re� ite intention to vac�.te the follov:ing described alley�,
avenues, and ?nzblic ti�ays:
The first alley easterly of Ca.lifornia Avenue eatendin� from the northerly
line of Norton Avenue to the southwesterly line of Brenton gverna.e.
Brenton Avenue eatending fram the northerly line of �Torton Avenue to the
southerly Zine of Alma Avenue.
Alma, Avenue eatending from the easterly line of California Avenue to tY�e
westerly iine of Century Boulevard.
Swantek Place extending from the eaaterly line of Brenton Avemze to the
westerly line of Century Boulenard.
The first a.11e� northerlg of Norton Avenne estending from the easterl�
line of Brenton Avem3.e to a line 125 feet v�esterly of a.n.d parallel to the westerly
line of CentU.ry Bo�a.leva.rd.
The f.irst a.11ey westerly of Centuzy Boulevard extending from a line
125 feet northerly of and parallel to the northerlSr line of Norton Anenue to a
line125 feet easterly of and pa,rallel to the easterly line of California Averiue.
The first alley easterly of Ca].ifornia Avenue eatending from the northerly
linP of r�.lma. Avenue to a, line725 feet southerlv of and pa.rallel to the southerly
linP of Century Poulevard.
Section 2: Th�.t said avenues, alleys, and public ways as �bove described
lying and being in the said City of Zynwood is shown on a ma,p of Tract Na. 13�07
on file in the office of the City Clerk of said city, and to which all pa.rties
interested are referred to for f`�irther particv.lars as to the proposed vacations and
abandonments.
Section �: �ha.t these proceedings a.re had and taken und.er the provisions
of Sections 5300 to 8324, both inclusive, anct Sections Fi330 and 8331 of the Streets
a,nd Highurays Code of the State of California, as a.mended.

Section �: That Tuesday, the 18th day of Jarnzary, 1955 at the hour of
8 o�clock p.m. in the Council Cha,mbers of the City Ha.11 in said city, is hereby
fixed as the time and place for hearing an4y protests or ob�ections to the proposed
vacations or aba.ndonments.
Section 5: The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to pi,zblish
and post notice of the passa.ge of this resolution in the ti.me, form, and manner
required by law.
