RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABATE DRY AND DRYING
WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD.
WIIEREAS,,Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Weed.a.nd Rubbish Abatement" provides for abatement of d.ry and. drying
weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood by the Superintendent of Streets that
there exists a. public nuisance on certain parcels of land. in the
City of Lynwood., as hereinafter more particularly described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood.as follows:
1. That a public nuisance exists upon the parcels of land,
lots, or portions of lots set forth below:
Modjeska Acres: Lots 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 16, 25, and. 64. �
Belle Vernon Acres: Lots 1 and 2 0£ Block 14; Lots 21 and. �
24 Block 15.

° Weed and Rubbish Abatement," and amendments thereto.
4. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesd.ay, the lgth d.ay of
March, 1957, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the
City Ha11,.11330 Bullis Roa.d, in the City of Lynwood., an� and all persons
haying any objections or protests to 5aid proposed work may appear before
said City,Council and. show cause why said proposed work should not be
carried out in accord.ance with said. Act.
