RESOLUTION N0. 2701
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD REQUESTING WITHDRAWAL OF CERTAIN AREAS
OF LAND ANNEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE FLORENCE-
GRAHAM SEWER MAINTENANCE.DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood. has completed the annexation
of certain area.s of land, as hereinafter described., to said. City of
Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code, I
I
Division 5, Part 3, Chapter 4, Article 7(Section 4926, as amend.ed),
provides that whenever any portion of a district is included. within
a city by reason of annexation, such portion may be withd.rawn from
. the d.istrict by request of the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of Los �
Angeles County to exclude from the District those portions of
Florence-Graham Sewer Maintenance District lying within the following
d.escribed. areas of land:

Ozell Manor Annex #5 637 Dec. 27 1955.
Beginning at the intersection of a line 10 feet easterly
of and. parallel to the Westerly line of Thorson Avenue and the
westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 2 of J. J. Bullis
Tract, as shown on map recOrd.ed in Book 3, pages 612 and. 613 of
Miscellaneous Record.s of Los Angeles County, California, said point
being on the boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said boundary
line existed April 18 1955 thence northerly along said. bound.ary
line and following the same in all its various oourses to a point on
the southerly line of said Lot 2; thence North 71 l0t 55 " West along
said. last described line and its westerly prolongation to the point
of beginning.
Wright Road. Annex #10 648 June 19, 1956
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of
if�right Road., 33 feet wid.e, and the southerly line of Century Boule- '
vard (formerly Morton Road), 55 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract
No. 10634 record.ed in Book 165, pages 40, 41, and. 42 of Maps, Record.s
of Los Angeles County, California, said point being on the boundary
line of the City of Lynwood as said. bound.ary line existed March 7,
1956 thence southerly along said boundary line and following the same
in a11 its various courses to the easterly line of that portion of
Wright Road, 50 feet wide, shown on said. map as having a bearing o£
North 20 10• 25" East; thence southerly along the southerly prolonga-
tion of said. easterly line to the easterly prolongation of said.
southerly line of Century Boulevard, 55 feet wide; thence westerly
in a d.irect line to the point of beginning.

BE'IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is'd.irected and
ord.ered to.fiTe a copy of this resolution with the Board of Supervisors
of Los Angeles County.
