RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURES
OF GAS TAX D10rdIES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN
THE CITv OF LYIVWOOD. •
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors af the County of Los Angeles
has al.located �22,273.47 for the improvement and maintenance of major
city streets of general County intere�.t within the corporate limits of the
City of" T,ynti�rood for the, £iscal yEar 1956-57; and •
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is noir� ready to proceed with its
grog^a.m of street improvement vaork;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lyntvood that the Board of Superdisors k,e requested to grant to said City cf
Lynwood $22,273.47 and approve its expenditure for the improvement and
maintenance of the following streets and avenues in said city.
l. The construction of plant-mixed surfacing or bituminous
m�ca�3am in the following streets and avenues:
Imperial Highway from Bullis Rd, to Elm. Ave.
Portions of Abbott Road from Century Blvd, to Htlantic Ave.
� East Rdwy, of Alameda from Fernwood Ave. to Century Blvd.
Agnes Avenue from School Street to Thorson Ave.
2. General maintenance in the following streets and avenues:
Abbott Road from Century Blvd. to East city limits.
Long Beach Blvd. from South qity limits to North city lim3.ts.
Century Blvd. from West city limits to East city limits.
Bullis Road from South city limits to Imperial Highway.
Santa Fe Avenue from 5outh city limits to Cedar Avenue.
State Street from Cedar Avenue to North city limits.
Carlin Avenue from East city limits to West city limits.
Fernwood Avenue from West city,limits to East city limits.
California Avenue from Fernwood Ave..to North city limits.
