RESOLUTION OF THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CTTY'OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNI�, GNING-NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE -
�. COUNTY OF LOS.4�NGELES LYING' ON THE WEST SIDE
OF'ALAMED'A STREET AND SOUT$ERLY OF IMPERI�L
HIGHWAY'�ALAMEDA STREET ANNEX N0. 3).
•WHEREAS, pursuant to the "Annexa:tion.of Uninhabited. Terri-
Tory Act of 1939" there.has been presented.to the,City Council of �
the City of Lynwood, California a petition d.ated October 17, 1956,
executed. by Lester T4. Cantrell requesting the annexation of certain
.property lying on-the.west side of Alamed.a Street and. southerly of
Imperial Highway in the.County of Los Angeles, State.of California,
and. lying within the foTlowing d.escribed boundari�es:
Beginning•at an angle point in the boundary of the City o'f
Lynwood as same.'existed on June l5, 1956 said angle poznt being a:
� point in the westerly line of the parcel of land marked "Omri J.

from the southwesterly corner of'said. parcel of land; thence northerly
along said. weaterly line.to the southwesterly corner ,of the.parcel
, of land described as Parcel l in d:eed. to Katsujiro Horiuchi, et al,
recorded in Book.47365, page 266 of.Official Record.s in the office,of
said Recorder; thence easterly along the southerly bound.ary of said:
Parcel I to a point on the aforementioned. boundary line.o'f the.City
o£ Lynwood; thence southerly a:long said bound.ary line.and following
the same in a:ll its various courses to the point of beginning.

than.one-fourth.of the.area' of land. in auch territory arid representing

ing to the'.last preceed.ing 'equalized assessment roll.of the.Cqunty of

Lynwood hereby gives notice of said: proposed. anriexation,

- Section 3: Said City Council hereby giyea notice of and
fixes the 18th day of December at the.hour of 8:00 p,m, in the
bouncil-Chambers the,City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood., Ca.lif-
ornia as the d.ay, hour, and place when and where any person.owning
real property within such territory so proposed to be.annexe'd and having .
any obje'etions to.the.proposed. annexation may appear before the City
Council of said City of Lynwood and show cause why.such territory
should not be so annexed.:
