HomeMy Public PortalAbout2004-004 Resolution Granting Preliminary Plat Approval of Webers WoodsMember Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.04-04 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF WEBERS WOODS WHEREAS, Kevin Weber and Sara Weber (the "Applicants") have applied to the city of Medina (the "City") to replat the property located at 4642 Walnut Street, which land is legally described as Lots 17 and 18, Block 7, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat of the Property was reviewed by the planning commission on December 9, 2003, and following a public hearing thereon as required by law, the planning commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat, subject to certain terms and conditions; and WHEREAS, on January 6, 2004, the city council reviewed the preliminary plat for its conformance with the ordinances of the City, considered the recommendations of the planning commission, and heard the comments of the Applicants and other interested parties regarding the matter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota that preliminary plat approval of Webers Woods is hereby granted, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicants must provide adequate title evidence for review by the city attorney; 2. The Applicants must pay an administrative fee to the City in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs of reviewing the plat of the Property; and Resolution # 04-04 1 January 20, 2004 3.
