RESOLUTION N0. 2688
IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF
WRIGHT ROAD BETWEEN FERNWOOD AVENUE AND CEN-
TURY BOULEVARD BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF VITRI-
FIED CLAY PIPE SANITARY SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH
ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK,
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE INVITING BIDS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
as' follows: � ' ' - -
Section 1: In the opinion of said City Council the public I
interest and convenience xequire, and. said. City Council having aequired
jurisdiction so to d.o, the following work or improvement is hereby
ordered to be done, to wit:
The construetion of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, �
manholes, wye branches, together with all incidental and appurtenant
work in Wright Road. lyirig between the Northerly line of Century Boule-
vard and the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of Fernwood
Avenue, as more particularly d.escribed in Resolution of Intention No.
, 2685.
Section 2: All of the work or improvement aforesaid. shall
be done as contemplated. in.Resolution of Intention No. 2685 of the

City Council of said City, and to P1an�yNo. 1956-� to which reference

is hereby made for further particulars.
Section 3: Said proposed. work or improvement, in the opinion
of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit
and. said. City Council hereby d.etermines and d.eclares that the district
to be benefited by said. work and improvement, and to be assessed. to
pay the entire costs and expenses thereof is particularly d:escribed in
Resolution of Intention No. 2685. Re£erence is hereby mad-e to said
Resolution of Intention and to Plan No. 1956-A-T��for further particu-
lars as to the extent of the asaessment d.istrict.
Section 4: The proceedings for the aforesaid work and.
improvement shall be had and taken under an.Act of the Legislature
of the State of California d.esignated as the Streets and Highways

Cod.e, Division 7, and cited. as the."Improvement Act of 1911," and
amendments thereto.
Section 5: The City Qouncil hereby determines and. declares
that serial bond.s shall be issued. in the form and manner provided in
said. aforementioned Act, bearing interest at the rate of six (6) per
centum per annum to represent each a.sseasment of twenty-five ($25.00)
dollars or over, remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of
warrant. �Said serial bonds sha11 extend. over a period endin� nine
years from the second day of January next succeeding the next October
15th following their date. Said. bond.s and interest thereon shall be
paid at the office of the City Treasurer of said City and shall be
disbursed by him, a.11 as provid.ed in said. Act.
Seetion 6: The City Clerk sha11 post and: cause to be
published. a notice inviting sealed. proposals or bid.s for doing the
above described work or improvement in the time, form, and manner
required by law.
