IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF
WRIGHT ROAD BETWEEN FERNWOOD AVENUE AND CEN- -
TURY BOULEVARD BY THE QONSTRUCTION OF VITRI-
FIED CLAY PIPE SANITARY SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH
ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK.
� RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS AND DETERMINING
THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURISDICTION
TO ORDER THE PROPOSED WORK OR IMPROVEMENT. �
.WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood d.id bn•°=
the 16th d.ay of Octob.er 1956 adopt its Resolution of Intention No.
z685 ordering the improvement of Wright Road. between Fernwood Avenue
and. Century Boulevard.by the construction of vitrified. clay pipe
� sanitary sewers, manholes, wye branches, including all incid.ental
and. appurtenant work, and
WHEREAS,,Wednesday, the 7th day of November 1956 at the
hour of 8:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the,City Hall in said

City of Lynwood was the time and place set in said`Resolution of
Intention when and where�any objections to the proposed work or im-
provement, or to the extent of the d.istrict to be assessed, or to
the grad.es to which the work was proposed to be done, would be heard.
by said City Council; and.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City has heretofore pre-
sented and filed. an affidavit of publication of said. Resolution of

Intention, showing that the same was published accord.ing to lav�; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has also presented and filed his
affid.ayit of mailing notices of the adoption of said. Resolution of
Inten�ion in the time, form, and manner, and to the persons, all as
prov3d.ed by an Act of the Legislature o£ the State of California,
designated. as Division 7 0£ the Streets and Highway's"Coae, and cited
as the."Improvement Act of 1911," and. amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer-Superintend.ent of Streets has
heretofore presented. and.filed an affid:avit showing that notices of
the �assage of said Resolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said. Act; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing held on the 7th day of November,

1956, no protests were filed. against any of the things proposed_ to
be done under Resolution of Intention No. 2685,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of,the
City of Lynwood. that the said City Council has acquired full juris-
d.iction to ord.er the proposed. work or improvement.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of November 1956.
