' IMPROVEMENT OF.WRIGHT ROAD BETWEEN FERNWOOD AVENUE AND CENTURY BOULEVARD BY THE CONSTRUC- TION OF VITRIFIED CLAY PIPE SANITARY SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT • WORK. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Diyision 4 of the 3treets and. Highways Cod.e, cited a.s the "Special Assessment Investi- gation Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931," the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined. that the improvement of Wright Road between Fernwood. Avenue_and Century Boulevard. as proposed. in Resolution No. 2672 of said city is feasible, and that the public �i interest, convenience, and. necessity require the improvement sub- stantia.11y as set forth in said report, and WHEREAS, said. City Council has found. that the lands to be assessed will be able to stand. the burden of the proposed assessment, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood. as follows: Section l: .That in the opinion of the City Council of the City of Lynwood. the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of said City Council to order the following work or improyement to be done, to wit: The construction of yitrified clay pipe sanitary'sewers, manholes, wye branches, together with all incidenta.l.and appurtenant work in Wright Road. lying between the Northerly line of Century Boulevard. and the Easterly prolongatiori,of the Northerly line of Fernwood Avenue. All of said work or improvement shall be performed in the public ways and between the limits hereinbefore designated except where the plans indicate that said. work shall be omitted.. That a11 of the work or improvement a.foresaid. sha11 be done and performed. in accord.ance with and. to the grad.es shown on Plans and. Specifications No. 1956-A-3 on file in the office of the Qity Clerk _1_ r of said. City. Said. plans are hereby referred to for a full and com- plete d.escrippion of said proposed. work and for the grades to which the work is to be done and. said plans and. specifications are by reference made a part hereof'and. shall govern for all d.etails of the proposed work. That the total estimated. cost of said work or improvement is the sum of Six Thousand Six Hund.red Nine and No/100ths Dollars ($6,609.00). Section 2: That said contemplated work or improvement, in the opinion of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and said City Council hereby,determines and. d.eclares I that the district to be benefited by said work or improvement, and to I be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of such work or improvement, is shown on Plan No. 1956-A-4 on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, to which reference is hereby made for a full and compTete d.escription of the assessment district. Section 3: The City Council hereby determines and declares that serial bonds shall be issued. in the.manner and.form provided in D3vision 7 of the Streets and Highways Cod.e cited. as the "Improvement Act of 1911," as amend.ed, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum .to represent each assessment of Twenty-five Dollars f$25.00) or over remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of record.ation of the warrant; said. serial bond.s shall extend over a period ending nine years from the second day of January next•succeed.ing the next October fifteenth following their date. Said bonda and. interest � thereon shall be paid at the office of the City Treasurer and. the.same shall be d.isbursed. by him, all a.s provid.ed. in the said.
