CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.04-05
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION TO CONDUCT ANNUAL OFF -SITE
GAMBLING FOR PLYMOUTH LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Lions Club ("Applicant") has made application to the City of
Medina for an "Off -Site Gambling Approval" to conduct Class D charitable gambling activities
under authority and regulation of Minnesota Statute 349.16; and
WHEREAS, said premise permit will be for a `Bank Night" raffle to be conducted at
Medina Entertainment Center located at 500 Highway 55 within the City; and
WHEREAS, Applicant understands that this license prohibits conducting gambling
activities at any other location than above mentioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota
that the Applicant's request for the Off -Site Gambling approval be granted, for February 19t,
2004 at the Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Highway 55, Medina, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Lane and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman
and the following voted against: (Absent: Workman)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
