CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.04-06
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL TO THE
PLAT OF MEDINA PARKS SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the city of Medina (the "City") has received an application from Medina
Parks, a Minnesota partnership (the "Applicant') regarding the platting of certain land in Medina
located generally east and west of Willow Drive and north of Pioneer Trail, which land is legally
described in Exhibit A attached hereto (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the City granted preliminary plat of the Property, which will be known as
Medina Parks Second Addition, on November 18, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested final approval of the plat which has been
reviewed by city staff for compliance with city ordinances and the terms of preliminary plat
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that final approval of the plat of Medina Parks Second Addition is hereby granted,
subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The Applicant must pay a park dedication fee in the amount of $32,175 in lieu of
dedication of land. The park dedication fee is applicable only to Lot 1, Block 1 and is payable prior
to issuance of the first building permit. Additional park fees will be due on replatting of the
remainder of the Property;
2. The Applicant must pay an administrative fee to the City in an amount sufficient to
reimburse the city for the costs of reviewing the plat; and
3. The final plat must be filed with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of this
resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Workman
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

EXHIBIT A
The Property is legally described as follows:
All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 118, Range 23,
lying Southerly of the Southerly right-of-way line of the Soo Line Railroad,
EXCEPT that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter Section 4,
Township 118, Range 23, lying East of Willow Road as the same is now laid out
and traveled, and South of the Soo Line Railroad Right -of -Way, according to the
government survey thereof, AND EXCEPT that part of the Southeast Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 118, Range 23, described as follows
to wit: Beginning at the point of intersection of the Easterly right-of-way line of
Willow Road as the same is now laid out and traveled and the Northerly line of
said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, thence East on said Northerly
line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter a distance of 500 feet;
thence Southerly on a line parallel with the East boundary line of said Section 4, a
distance of 65 feet, thence Westerly on a line parallel with said Northerly line of
said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter to the Easterly right-of-way line
of said Willow Road and thence Northerly along said right-of-way line of Willow
Road and thence Northerly along said right-of-way line of Willow Road to the
point of beginning, according to the United States Government Survey thereof
and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
