HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD14288 • BILL NO. 2007-114 SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN KLINDT ORDINANCE NO. f AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL, PERTAINING TO SPECIFIC POLLUTANT LIMITS ALLOWED WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in the zoning code relating to zoning have in all matters been complied with; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 29 of the Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 29-96. Specific Pollutant Limitations. A. The Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and the Total Suspended Solids discharged to the City's POTW shall not exceed 450 mg/l. Any discharges(s) in excess of the limit shall enter into an agreement with the City for an exception and/or implementation of an approved pretreatment program. B.
