Chair Coulson called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
1. Roll Call
2. Approval of November 29, 2006 special meeting minutes.
Comm. Brent moved, and Comm. Shapiro seconded the motion to
approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried: 5-0.
3. Open Forum
a) TP Trotter is taking minutes. Please speak slowly. Chocolate is
available, gift from Carroll & Lange Engineers, Enjoy!
4. Public Hearing! Action Item
a) Subdivision Regulations - proposed amendments
Comm. Cook moved, and Comm. Shapiro seconded the motion to open
the continued public hearing. Motion carried: 5-0.
TP Trotter stated that we are still awaiting review from a few people. TP Trotter
recommended that the PC review and discuss the proposed amended
subdivision regulations tonight. TP Trotter will continue to make further
amendments as a result of tonight's discussion and additional comments from
other Staff. TP Trotter will get the revised amendments to the PC prior to the
TB public hearing on January 3, 2007, The PC may contact Trotter to address
additional concerns; however they are encouraged to come to the TB public
hearing with additional comments. PC agreed to this arrangement.
TP- Trotter reiterated that we are taking the road standards out of the
subdivision regulations and creating a separate manual. Weare also making
some changes to sections that we have had challenges with in the recent past.

PC had a 2+ hour discussion on the amendments and made suggestive
changes to same. TP Trotter thanked the PC for the detailed review of the
subdivision regulations. The road standards were emailed to all PC yesterday.
Please contact Staff with any changes.
Revisions shall be made and then distributed to the PC,
Comm. Shapiro moved, and Comm. Sumrall seconded the motion to
close the public hearing. Motion carried: 5 -0.
Comm. Brent moved, and Comm. Cook seconded the motion to
recommend to the TB approval of the proposed amendments to the
subdivision regulations with the addition/ deletions as discussed tonight,
including possibly additional changes as a result of further review by
Staff, with the caveat that the PC will review all changes prior to the TB
public hearing on January 3rd, 2007. In addition, the PC is encouraged
to attend the public hearing with the TB on January 3rd, 2007 for final
input.
6. Staff Choice
TP Trotter passed out gift certificates to the PC and thanked them for all their
time and effort serving the Town. The jackets haven't been ordered yet b/c we
are awaiting a couple of orders.
X-Mas party will be 12/20 at 6:30 pm at the Creek.
January 10th we are hosting a DOLA "Planning 101" seminar at 6:30 at
the church. PC/TB and Winter Park PC/TB and all staff are invited to
attend!
7. Commissioners' Choice
Comm. Shapiro moved, and Comm. Sumrall seconded the motion to
adjourn. Motion carried: 5-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
