IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF ALMA AVENUE,
RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITA-
TION REPORT.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
(1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
- require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
� institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
� ' (2) That the general nature, location, and extent of
such proposed improvement is as follows: The construction of
cement concrete curbs, driveways, and sidewalks, plant-mixed gutters,
and the removal of existing parkways, driveways, and trees on Alma
Avenue between Long Beach Boulevard and California Avenue.
(3) It is hereby determined that forty per cent (40�)
of the cost of said work or improvement shall be paid by the City
of Lynwo6d.
(�+) It is hereby further determined that the City Council
� of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accordance
with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali-
fornia which is known as the Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as amended. It is
hereby further determined that said City Council proposes to conduct
the proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an act
of the Legislature of the State of California known and designated
as the "Improvement Act of 1911" as amended.
(5) The boundary or extent of the assessment distnict
to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1954-J on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent of
said assessment district. �
(6) That the City Engineer be and he is hexeby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment'Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931" a.s amended.
