RESQLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK AND CITY
MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE INSURANCE AGENTS'
ASSOCIATION OF LYNWOOD FOR THE PURPOSE OF SE-
CURING INSURANCE AND SURETY BONDS IN THE NAME
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, an association of licensed insurance agents
within the City of Lynwood has been formed for the sole purpose of
offening to furnish the City of Lynwood with surveys�; appraisals
of city properties, both personal and real, and reports on liability ' I
exposures, and �
WHEREAS, said association will make recommendations con-
cerning the cityTS need in matters of insurance.and surety bonds
without cost or charge to the City of Lynwood, and
WIIEREAS, said association represents a combined group of
insurange agents that will provide the city with an unbiased and
comprehensive opinion of the city�s need for all types, of insurance,
and
WHEREAS, it is believed that the City of Lynwood will obtain
better insurance coverage at less cost to said city through the com-
bined counsel, advice, and service of this association of licensed
insurance agents, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Manager and City Clerk of the City
of Lynwood are hereby authorized to negotiate with the Insurance Agent�s
Association of Lynwood for the purpose of securing insurance and surety
bonds in the name of the City of Lynwood.
