RESOLUTION OF PROCEDURE GOVERNING HOME OCCUPA-
TION LICENSING.
WF�REAS, the City of Lynwood Zoning Ordinance No. 570
requires�a procedure to be established for the issuance of business
licenses for home occupations,
NOW, THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the '
City of Lynwood as follows: '
Section 1: That be�ore the License Collector of the City
, bf Lynwood. can issue a license for a business to be conducted within
the home in conformance with the zoning ordinance, the applicant
shall present a request to the City Council of said City for said
business license.
Section 2: Said request shall be made on an application
, provided by the License Collector and shall contain: �
A. The signatures of all the residents within�a radius
r
of 150 feet of the location of the proposed business.
B. A detailed description of the type of business to be
conducted by the applicant.
C. Any other information,that the City Council may from
time to time deem necessary to properly determine the merits of said
application.
Section 3: The License Collector, upon receipt of an appli-
cation, shall mail to said residents and/or property owners,� post
cards stating the type of business to be conducted, date of hearing
before the City Council, and shall provide a reply post card, to in-
sure that the residents are aware of�said applicant�s request.
• Section 4: Prior to presenting said request to the City
Council, which shall not be less than ten (10) days from filing
- said application, the Buildin� Official of the City of Lynwood shall
issue a Certificate of Occupancy, 3n accordance with Ordinance No.
520 and amendments thereto.

Section 5: The City Council may, upon hearing such re-
quest, ;rant or deny any such application. If the City Council
approves said application, the License Collector shall issue a
business license 3n conformance with the business license ordinance
of said city. The City Council may revoke any such license, with
or without cause, upon thirty (30) days� written notice from said
City Council.
